International Research Scholars Program

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Wellcome Trust, and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation are launching the International Research Scholars Program. This program seeks to encourage promising scientists early in their career who have the strong potential to make groundbreaking contributions in science in a manner that will further the partners’ respective charitable missions and result in a greater impact on key global health challenges. In addition to the financial support the scholars will receive, they will be integrated into a community that fosters their interactions with each other and with other scientists supported by the partner organizations.
